This Cookies Policy explains how VegaStar Casino — operated by Vegastars (operated by Neptune Projects S.R.L., Costa Rica) under the Tobique Gaming Commission — uses cookies and similar technologies on vegastar.[domain] and in our mobile applications. We process cookie data in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), National Privacy Commission Circular 16-02 (which treats cookies as personal data) and — where applicable — the EU ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC for visitors from the European Economic Area. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference, your logged-in state and your consent choices — and to recognise you when you return. Session cookies expire when you close the browser; persistent cookies remain on the device for a set period. First-party cookies are set by VegaStar itself; third-party cookies are set by partners (game providers, analytics, advertising networks) for purposes we describe below. Cookies cannot run code on your device beyond reading and writing their own values; they cannot, for example, access files outside the cookie store.

How VegaStar Uses Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in across pages, to remember your interface preferences (English / Tagalog UI when available, PHP / USD currency selector), to measure how the site is used so we can improve it, to detect fraud and prevent multi-accounting, and — where you have given explicit consent — to deliver personalised marketing on social and search platforms. We group cookies under four categories aligned with PAGCOR’s recommended structure. The consent banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept or reject each category independently. Strictly Necessary cookies are always on — without them the site cannot function. The other three categories require your explicit opt-in.

1. Strictly Necessary

Authentication, session, security and load-balancing cookies. Examples: login session token, CSRF protection token, cashier session identifier, anti-fraud device fingerprint. These cookies are required for the site to operate; you cannot opt out. They are first-party only.

2. Performance & Analytics

Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled. We collect aggregated, pseudonymous data on how visitors interact with vegastar.[domain]: which pages are visited, how long sessions last, where users come from, and which game categories are opened most. 3. Functionality

4. Advertising & Targeting

Meta Pixel (Facebook) and Google Ads conversion cookies — set only when you have explicitly opted in via the consent banner. We use them to show VegaStar advertising on Facebook and across the Google Display Network to people who have visited our site, and to measure the effectiveness of those campaigns. Advertising cookies do not unlock additional content on our site; rejecting them does not affect your account or play. Honoured: Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — if your browser sends a GPC opt-out signal, we treat that as an automatic rejection of advertising and targeting cookies for the session and for the device.

Game Provider Cookies

When you launch a game from JILI, PG Soft, FaChai, Evolution Gaming or another provider in our lobby, the provider may set its own technical cookies within the game iframe. These cookies are necessary for the game to run — they hold session state for the spin sequence, the dealer connection in live casino, and the bonus-round state. The providers operate under their own privacy policies; we link to the major providers from the Privacy Policy. Provider cookies do not carry your VegaStar account identity outside our platform.

Other Storage Technologies

In addition to cookies, modern browsers offer localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB. We use localStorage to cache lobby assets so the site loads faster on repeat visits, sessionStorage to hold short-lived UI state (the position of a slot tournament leaderboard, for example), and IndexedDB to store offline placeholder data for the mobile app when the network drops. These technologies are subject to the same consent regime as cookies under NPC Circular 16-02 — rejecting Performance, Functionality or Advertising cookies in the banner also disables the equivalent localStorage / sessionStorage / IndexedDB usage in those categories.

Safari (macOS & iOS). Preferences (or Settings on iOS) → Privacy → Block all cookies, or Manage Website Data → Remove specific sites.

Microsoft Edge. Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Brave. Settings → Shields → Cookies — Brave blocks third-party cookies by default.
Samsung Internet (Android). Settings → Sites and downloads → Manage website data.

The consent banner you see on first visit has four toggles: Necessary (always on, cannot be disabled), Performance & Analytics, Functionality, and Advertising & Targeting. The three optional categories can be saved as a custom mix via Save Preferences, or you can use Accept All or Reject All — all three options are equally prominent in line with NPC Circular 16-02 and EU ePrivacy guidance. You can change consent at any time via the cookies icon in the page footer.

We apply a maximum duration cap on every category. Strictly Necessary cookies live for the session or up to 30 days for the consent record itself. Performance & Analytics cookies live for a maximum of 90 days. Functionality cookies live for up to 365 days. Advertising & Targeting cookies live for a maximum of 13 months — the industry-standard cap for retargeting windows. Cookies that exceed their stated duration are deleted automatically.

How to Clear VegaStar Cookies

To clear cookies set by vegastar.[domain] specifically — without affecting other sites — use the per-site controls listed above for your browser. To withdraw consent across all optional categories at once, open the cookies icon in the footer and click Reject All. To delete everything VegaStar has stored on your device, use your browser’s Clear browsing data dialog and select vegastar.[domain] in the per-site list.

Updates to This Policy
